Displaying a collection of timeless masterpieces, the Musee du Louvre will take you almost half a day to visit. The museum is opened every day except on Tuesdays and is free for underage people. The price of an entrance ticket is 15 euros, the ticket gives access to temporary exhibitions and permanent collections, as well as access to the Eugene-Delacroix national Museum for the same day and the day after.

The Musee du Louvre is the perfect attraction to visit solo, in group or in family. The outside space leaves an opportunity for a nice picnic mid-visit on a sunny day. In the Museum, you’ll find some of the most famous art pieces such as the Mona Lisa painting, La Joconde by Leonardo da Vinci, The liberty leading the people painted by Eugene Delacroix, the Veronese canvas representing The Wedding Feast at Cana and the sculpture of the Milo’s Aphrodite from Alexandros of Antioch.

Fun fact: It would take over 9 months if a person was to glance at every single piece of the Louvre Museum, knowing that the monument showcases 35,000 works of art.
