Le Georges : The ideal restaurant to admire the Parisian sky

Le Georges is a rooftop terrace located at the top of the Georges Pompidou Centre. Decorated by Jakob + MacFarlane, the Parisian architecture agency made sure to enhance the city of love’s beauty in an arty and contemporary decor. Perfect for a family lunch, a drink with a friend or a romantic dinner, the futuristic restaurant has an indoor and outdoor setting.

Le Georges offers one of the most beautiful views of Paris. Open every day (except on Tuesdays) from 11 am to 1 am, Le Georges assembles gastronomy, design, fine architecture and aesthetics.

Going from Italian standards to Fusion specialities, the Costes style restaurant serves a variety of meals. With starters going from 7 euros, the average price of a full-course meal is 70 euros excluding drinks. Fostering quality, the Georges chefs serve a variety of dishes with low calories, gourmet and vegetarian options. Each meal is homemade and cooked on demand from rigorously selected raw products. When visiting Le Georges, remember to book a table near the bay windows to enjoy the panoramic view.

Why do we love this place?

The restaurant is set on the top floor of the Centre Pompidou, which is the National Modern Art Museum in France. Ideally located, Le Georges is the perfect place to go after a museum visit. In the Museum, you’ll find the works of key artists from the modern period such as Matisse, Picasso, Dubuffet and the contemporary period like Andy Warhol, Yves Klein, or Anish Kapoor.

Fun fact:

The Centre Pompidou was built in January 1977. Designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers, the monument was built like an upturned sock with most elements located outside the building such as air and water pipes or huge electricity tube, decorating the Centre Pompidou’s facades.
