Located at walking distance from the Notre Dame forecourt, Au Bougnat will make you discover French classical and traditional dishes. In a warm setting with wood-clad, long benches, and a large mirror, this little Parisian bistro in the Notre Dame neighborhood awaits you. With a traditional décor and a friendly atmosphere, whether you are solo or in family, be certain that you will enjoy the taste bud experience.

Valuing freshness and authenticity, the bistro-type restaurant serves French cuisine through up-to-date meals such as frog legs, veal head, or Sea bass filet with white butter-flavored fresh spinach.

We suggest indulging yourself with their exquisite Passionfruit pavlova which remains our favorite dessert.

The price range of Au Bougnat is the following: Starters from 9 to 10 euros, mains going from 14 to 23 euros and desserts at around from 8 to 12 euros. The average price per person would be 35 euros with drinks or wine included. The restaurant is animal and child friendly.

Fun fact: For book lovers, the street of the restaurant named ‘’Rue Chanoinesse’’ has been mentioned in Honore de Balzac’s novel titled ‘’ The Other Side of Contemporaneous History’’. Where Godefroy, the hero, was housing at Miss De La Chanterie on Rue Chanoinesse.
